SUMARLIN, Antonius Widyatma, is a Faculty Member and a Researcher at Branding Department of School of Business and Economics, Universitas Prasetiya Mulya, Indonesia. He earned his Ph.D degree in Marketing from IPB University, Indonesia and his MA degree in Economics Development from Vanderbilty University, Tennessee, USA. He has published articles in Forum Manajemen Prasetiya Mulya [Brand Aura Consumption of A Politician (2018)]; and Journal SBM ITB [Can a Knowledge Sharing Platform without a Brand Community Platfrom contribute to the Brand Community Commitment? (2013)]. At the same token, he also contributed his writings in two book publications: Breakthrough Thinking (Elexmedia Publishing, 2008) and Model Pemasaran Seri 2 (IPB Publishing, 2013). Parallel to academic world, he is concurrently serving two public companies as an Independent Director of PT. Asia Pacific Fibers Tbk and as an Independent Commissioners of PT. Asuransi Ramayana Tbk. Coexisting to all of the preceding roles, his extensive knowledge of brand and consumer preferences allows him into advisory roles as a congressional staff for Commission XI DPR-RI for 2014-2019, a states investment advisor for Bureau of Investment and Portfolio Management, Provincial Governement of Jawa Barat, a board member of Indonesia Geothermal Center of Excellence (IGCOE), a project leader in Social Mapping and Reengineering survey at Geothermal Community Sites under PT. Gada Energy (ITB University) since 2014 and also as a survey team member of Annual Consumer Satisfaction Index of PLN under PT. Surveyor Indonesia (Persero) since 2014.
