Mohammad Hasan Ansori, Ph.D. was born and grown in Gresik City, East Java however, had spent most of my time at Jakarta for school, work, and business. He has finished his Doctoral Program in Sociology from University of Hawaii at Manoa, USA, in 2011. At the same time, he had served as graduate degree fellow from East West Center, Hawaii for six years (2005-2011). The research focus and my field of work has a lot intersect with conflicts and peace, natural resources, policies analysis, and migration. Post finishing Doctoral Programme, he worked in many field especially in teaching, research, and consultancies. He teaches at Social and Political Sciences Faculty (FISIP), UIN Jakarta, and also become reseacrh consultant in many intitutions, both national and international, such as The World Bank, The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), United Nations Development Program (UNDP), The Asia Foundation, The Sasakawa Peace Foundation, Humanitarian Dialogue Center, and Presidential Work Unit-Supervision and Development Control Area (UKP4). As of today, he spent most of the time to served as Director in The Habibie Center. Among those busy activites, he still has been writing publication related with issue or specific topics, both national journal and international journal, and few books, and I also went and gave a presentation in many seminar and conferences worldwide.
