The purpose of social mapping and social engineering activities is to obtain details on the social-economic-politic condition near geothermal field. The activities had been taken places at WKP Arjuno-Welirang (East Java), WKP Bora Pulu (Central Sulawesi), WKP Gn. Talang-Bukit Kili (West Sumatera), WKP Candi Umbul-Telomoyo (Central Java), WKP Oka Ile Ange (East Nusa Tenggara), WKP Gn. Endut (Banten), WKP Dieng (Central Java), and WKP Patuha (West Java). Social mapping and engineering activities at area includes but not limited to:

Data collection (primary and secondary)
Data analysis
Recommendation of solution alternatives
Report of social mapping dan social engineering
